Amy brings to her practice more than 20 years of accounting and operations management experience across a range of industries and organizations, including the non-profit sector. Amy offers her clients a real-world business acumen derived from years of hands-on experience starting, scaling and running start-ups. Amy is an Illinois Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a  QuickBooks™ Advanced Certified ProAdvisor. She holds degrees from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, DePaul University and a professional development certificate from Northwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband, spending time with family, reading crime novels and walking Evee/collecting beach glass from the shores of Lake Michigan. 

Accountant

Sarah was born in California and has lived in Chicago for the majority of her life. Sarah is a stay-at-home cat mom to Bugsy and Rogue and they are her absolute favorites. She holds a Bachelor's in Science of Accounting, a result of a lifelong passion for accounting and bookkeeping.  At 16 years old, Sarah's best friend's mom introduced her to QuickBooks. Sarah is also passionate about Business Management, which blossomed when she was in her early twenties running multiple businesses in the hospitality industry. In addition, Sarah is a huge lover of coffee which helps her keep our client books in order - and keeps her shimmying around to her favorite band, Fall Out Boy.

Senior Bookkeeper

Jenn is a native Iowan and a long time Chicagoan living in Rogers Park. She holds a degree in music education and is a bookkeeper with experience in a variety of industries including property management, churches, a retail wine store, and auto mechanics. In addition, Jenn is a worship pianist for several area churches and an activist for social justice. Jenn enjoys time with friends, travel, swimming, and many kinds of puzzles. She loves watching baseball at any level, as well as tennis, football, and women's soccer. Jenn is mom to a cat and is Auntie Jenn to two nieces and one nephew. 

Office Beagle

 Evee is the newest member of the Claritus team. Part Beagle, part Jack Russell, Evee is thrilled to be a part of the action on the days she visits the office with Amy. The rescue thought Evee is about four years old. She is full of character and a real cuddle bug. Evee loves tummy rubs, playing with her Kong, and taking afternoon naps under Mom’s desk.
